Pull-resistant transitions from PE to steel pipe for welding
For the safe and pull-resistant transition from your steel pipeline to a PE-HD pipe, you can find the appropriate positive-locking solution for your piping system at Reinert-Ritz. The steel pipe end is provided with a welding bevel according to DIN EN ISO 9692–1 Type 22 and in compliance with ISO 3138–1 and can be made in a shorter version for connection to accessories. As an alternative to welding, the version with a flange transition piece or for water applications or with steel pipe according to customer specifications is optionally available. DVGW-certified variants are available in dimensions from DN 80 / d 90 mm to DN 200 / d 225 mm.

PE100 transition piece PE/steel – gas application
General preliminary remark
The fittings to be offered must, on the PE side, be manufactured from material in compliance with the PE100+ Association and according to DIN EN 1555 with respect to dimensions, tolerances and quality requirements, and according to DIN ISO 3183 on the steel side.
Proof must be provided that they were manufactured on the basis of a quality assurance system in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001.
For all fittings a certificate in accordance with DIN EN 10204 must be submitted by the manufacturer.
The body of the fitting must be manufactured in the injection moulding process or alternatively, in the case of more complex structures, from a piece of homogeneous semi-finished material so as to ensure the required reinforcement and therefore high stability of the fitting.
Semi-finished materials manufactured from wound rods or the subsequent application of other forms of reinforcing are not permitted.
The sealing element must be manufactured from NBR according to DIN EN 682.
The PE spigot must be sufficiently long for HW welding.
The welding bevel at the steel end must comply with DIN ISO 9692-1 Type 22
Optionally available versions: with steel flanges drilled according to DIN EN 1092-1 PN 10 or PN 16 or other international standards, stainless steel pipe 1.4571 or 1.4301.
