Welding neck with loose flange

The classic for flange connections

Experience has shown that the welding neck with loose flange from Reinert-Ritz is particularly suitable for unpressurized systems and applications with low pressure. In addition to the usual standard sizes, we also offer customized solutions up to a diameter of 2000 mm that take your special requirements into account.

Welding neck collars with loose flanges were in fact the first flange connections that could be used to produce transitions on fittings and flanges made of other pipe materials.

A flange connection is a system consisting of a collar, flange screw connection and the appropriate gasket. When selecting the flange connections, the corresponding pressure and force ratios must always be taken into account. You can find an overview of all Reinert Ritz flange connections here.

The Reinert Ritz welding neckband is made of robust material that guarantees a long service life. The backing flanges are made of corrosion-free, fiber-reinforced plastic or steel with a plastic coating in accordance with DIN EN 10310. The weld-on collar, on the other hand, is made of PE100 plastic.

The loose flange solution is always a system consisting of a welding neck (flare, welding neck ring) and a matching loose flange. This flange rotates freely on the welding neck and can therefore be aligned with the mating flange.

In summary, a welding neck collar with loose flange offers a reliable, flexible and cost-effective connection solution for pressureless systems.

Our team at Reinert Ritz is always at your disposal and will be happy to answer all your questions about flange connections and welding neck collars. Contact us directly for your individual requirements.
