Profile gaskets

The long-lasting tightness of two flanges is influ­enced by the choice of the suitable gasket. By contrast with simple flat gaskets, profile gaskets enable the compen­sation of small angular devia­tions. The flange connection is already leak-tight with the appli­cation of low bolt tight­ening torques. As a result, the service life of plastic flange connec­tions is extended and the life cycle cost of the system is reduced.
