QUICK-TWIST flange spigot-end

The light and absolutely corrosion-resistant dismantling joint QUICK-TWIST is tailored exactly to your needs. The variant with a spigot-end (for HM or HS welding) is a novelty in the market for dismantling joints and is unique in this form. It enables you to integrate the dismantling joints welded into the pipeline, which saves considerable time during assembly. On the loose side, our Reinert-Ritz HP flange, known for maximum reliability, is used. QUICK-TWIST is operated in the twinkling of an eye. A rotating mechanism delivers the desired length. Then the flange is screwed as usual. The time savings compared to a standard dismantling joint is more than 50 % of the usual time.

General preliminary remark

The fittings to be offered must be manufactured from material in compliance with the PE100+ Association and according to DIN EN 12201 with respect to dimensions, tolerances and quality requirements. The fittings must be designed both in the flange-flange version and in the optionally available flange-spigot end version with a coarse thread for +/- 15 mm adjustability of the dismantling joint.

The bodies of the PE fittings must be manufactured from a piece of homogeneous semi-finished material in each case. Semi-finished materials manufactured from wound rods are not permitted.

The flanges must be drilled following the hole pattern stipulated by DIN EN 1092-1 PN 10 or PN 16. The stub and flange must interlock in a positive fit at their connecting surfaces and the flange must provide additional support to the stub from outside so as to counteract deformation. As a result, the flange connection is fully pressure-resistant according to the pipe dimensioning. The backing flange on the fixed flange side must be fitted with a plate spring function that maintains the preload after the bolts have been tightened. The stub of the fixed flange side as well as the thread seal are to be fitted with an O-ring seal appropriate to the dimension and application (TW è EPDM | AW è NBR). The backing flanges must be manufactured from corrosion-free, fibre-reinforced, high-strength plastic.

Proof must be provided that they were manufactured on the basis of a quality assurance system in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001. For all fittings a certificate in accordance with DIN EN 10204 must be submitted by the manufacturer.
The spigot end, which is optionally available instead of the fixed flange, is to be designed in a long shape in order to enable both heated element butt welding (HS) and heated coil welding (HM).

Optionally available versions:

  • Spigot end for welding instead of the fixed flange side
  • With longer adjustment path
  • Different flange dimensions per side
